Classic piece of lovely traditional British furniture from second half-20th century. The desk comes with original green leather top with gold tooling, which is in very good condition. All the wooden parts are in excellent condition too. The desk has been made according to the old craftsmen school. All drawers have dovetail joints. They slide in and out easily and are clean inside. All handles are original and are firmly in place. The bottom drawer in the right pedestal has a double height. The desk has a working lock and comes with a key.

For transport the desk splits into 3 separate parts (the top + 2 pedestals) so it is not very difficult to take.

The leather chair included in this package is in very good condition too. It solid, sturdy and does not wobble. It is narrow enough to slide into the desk knee hole when unused.
